I have an ex-boss in the US that I fell out with spectacularly one drunken evening when I realised he was a dyed-in-the-wool Republican. The sort of dyed-in-the-wool Republican that told me that there we no such things as ghettos and that everyone had the choice to drag themselves up from poverty to riches; this was America after all.
I’d previously always assumed he was more of a Democrat as he’s a real people-person, in touch with his emotional side and a massive Bruce Springsteen fan!
Anyway, it’s been 10+ years since I’ve seen him and he yesterday posted a tweet condemning his President’s actions and hoping to be woken from a 3-year nightmare/acid trip. This was the series of tweets that pushed him over the edge.

Trump is a an opportunist. Here’s a disturbing fact; he has ordered less people killed than Obama.
