Trump culturally appropriating North Korea?
I may be watching something different but it looks a full house from what I’m watching
Looking for something different. The point was never about the numbers. It was about the fact that the so-called leader of the free nations has decided to celebrate its independence by having a North Korea style military parade.
Seems the in vogue thing
Oh.
Good.
Grief
The american army were just ahead of their time.
I’d imagine trumps reply will be, they took over the land that airports were eventually built on, so that justifies the claim.
He’d be funny if he just stuck to twitter and stayed away from politics/history/any subject.
That’s why they had Balloons at the Military Parade…to celebrate that triumph of the air.
From BBC website:
“I knew the speech very well so I was able to do it without a teleprompter but the teleprompter did go out and it was actually hard to look at anyway because there was rain all over it but despite the rain it was just a fantastic evening.”
My favourite bit is that they haven’t used any punctuation in his quote, makes it more immersive and believable
Delusional is the only word I can think of reading this article
Darroch has been, to all intents and purposes, sacked by Johnson on the orders of Trump. The shape of things to come, we had better get used to being subservient to the Trump regime when Boris is PM. Does anyone seriously believe that his appointments, especially in the Foreign Office but not exclusively, won’t be run past Trump, Bolton, Bannon etc first? This is what we have been reduced to, nothing less than a vassal, prostating ourselves and arse licking in a desperate attempt to get some sweetheart trade deals after we have ‘taken back control’ at the end of October. Trump will eat us for breakfast, he now knows he calls all the shots, and we will have a PM who is cut from the same cloth as himself. The junior partner, desperately trying to impress the boss. What can possibly go wrong!
An interesting quote from Trump’s book, ‘The Art Of The Deal’
“The best deal is the one where you end up with everything, and they end up with nothing”
We dodged Vietnam. Maggie defied them to do the Falklands.
Have we deviated from US policy a jot since then?
Well, not until Darroch, and look where that’s got him.
Agree with the substance of your post, but this could have been written in 1992 or anytime thereafter and the vassal state criticism still would have applied.
Aye but one less beholden to a fucking loon and to one which WANTED us to have greater influence… but for That her’s ‘celebrated ‘ rebate in exchange for less fucking influence…
How long before we get rid of the pound and start using USDs? … unthinkable? Would be fucking ironic, yet typical of the self serving cunts who have taken us in this direction
Not sure who to blame here
Trump did what Trump does when criticised
Boris’ failing was not providing support when he probably should have, but it wouldn’t have mattered as Trump
Had frozen out the ambassador already
so The only person at fault here is the snidey cunt in the FO who leaked that email and wrecked the career of a 30yr diplomat
Some are suggesting that could be Boris.
Certainly on boris’ behalf. Which is why, of course, he couldn’t condemn it last night. He has conflicted interests, he is in trump’s pocket, doing his bidding. The interests of this country should be the only concern of the prime minister. Johnson is clearly unfit for the role.
We weren’t that supportive of Grenada IIRC
But otherwise correct
