The chap in charge of communication says that he is different from the chief strategist because “Im not trying to suck my own cock”. This is politics now in America! They’re not even on different sides!
Scaramucci is bonkers. I’ve seen footage of him slating trump during his campaign and now hes working for him. He deleted all of his previous tweets were he’d slagged trump off.
Its all truly chaotic and mad. And that’s what makes it fascinating to me.
I agree it’s facinating Fatso… But also fucking scary that The US has become so dumbed down that they even voted for Trump in the first place and that its people appear to continue to lap up this ridiculous man and his cronies… And we have May and her BREXIT champions wanting to align themselves with him as the organ Grinder rather than have our handle turned by Brussels…
The relationship between those in power and those that report on those in power is broken in the US.
I lost count of the number of times in that ‘interview’ where Scaramucci told the interviewer how he wanted to be treated or what he questions he wanted to answer.
At one point he told the interviewer that the President had said that he (the interviewer) had better be ‘nice’ or he (Scaramucci) wouldn’t be allowed back on the program.
I guess it’s pretty churlish for me to imply that our politician / press relationship is better, but at least they maintain the pretence of playing the game.
I’m not a huge fan of Stephen Colbert. I like his message but there’s something about him, his face, his voice, his style that I find intensely irritating.
It was never going to go well. The only surprise is that it went so badly wrong so quickly. He didnt even bother to give himself time to settle in before fucking things up. The worrying thing is that it is likely to get worse.
