Trump has announced he’s going to run Venezuela, take out lots of oil worth billions, which he will generously give to Venezuela except for “repayment to US what they owe us and what we sell to the rest of the world”. In other words, most of it.will go to the billionaires in the US.

in the uk there has to be an explicit threat to life whereas in the US it is if the officer thinks their might be a threat to life

How would that have been treated in the UK? The Police would have got out of the way, they had her car’s registration number, they would have knocked on her door later in the day and she would have been called before the local Magistrate’s Court and fined for dangerous driving. Due process is strangely different in the US at the moment.
