Its not always direct, but often indirect…the most obvious example being, Its the support given to the Israeli Government, that give the Israelis the confidence to attack Syrian targets and treat the Palestinians as they do…

How many people died in the US because of his, erm, leadership? He didn’t need to get involve in wars outside his own shores, there was enough killing/dying going on on his own doorstep. You are quite right in stating that he didn’t start any new wars. However, he did take action that definitely did risk it. Rocket attack in Syria, extra-judicial killing of the Iranian general. Nothing really new there. Reagan ordered strikes on Tripoli outside of war.
I think the problem for his critics on this issue is that they won’t talk about the one country he did run around for, a position of total hypocrisy. They and previous Presidents also gave him a very low bar to clear. Don’t invade anyone. That’s it.
