:trumpdumb: Trumped!

This smacks of Blair and his WMD claims

Encouraged their wives?

Snake-oil salesman-in-chief taking a page out of the Trump playbook? Lie lie lie until it’s true? Dunno but :man_shrugging:

The guardian have flounced off of twitter as a result of Musk’s support of Trump

They really are not taking Trumps election well at all

Is any sane, intelligent person taking it well?

I have and I bet if Harris won they would still be on there - they were pointing their staff towards their counselling services the day after the election

I very much doubt it, but you carry on :wink:

At last!! An upside. :+1::+1::smile:

Just imagine a multiverse where Musk and his Doge plan actually does cut Governments waste and improves Services.

As likely as Marvel dropping a decent film without Deadpool or Wolverine in it tbh but hey. Nice idea but the media horror stories that will flow soon…

You are aware of the number of UK companies no longer actively posting on Twatter or cancelling subscriptions?

My firm no longer use it and an industry body I sit on has decided not to post on it.

But hey, what do we know - lol :joy:

But I suspect your company hasn’t been rending their hair at the election results - the way they are carrying on at the Guardian is a bit sad really

Big ballsy move though - they are turning their back on 27m followers. Given that the entire point of them is to reach as many people as possible it’s an interesting strategy

Care for a wager? :thinking::smile:

I suspect he will fail but given his track record I wouldn’t bet too much on it

He will be like Dominic Cummings on steroids

Nope we haven’t- it was a place where everyone thought they had to have a presence- but if you have a company whose mantra is to do the right thing then staying and paying to post on a site full of fake news, allowing conspiracy theorists to run riot and promote people like Yaxley-Lennon in spreading hate speech as some examples - then it’s a no brainer.

Then think about the role influential billionaire Musk has apparently carved out for himself (by sucking up to convicted rapist / felon Trump) in the new US administration, then do you not just feel a little uncomfortable slagging off The Grauniad?

Actually, I suspect you probably don’t.

Yes but you know that I’d be going bald if I hadn’t lost my hair already :wink:

No we’re been making hay post budget

Alternatives to Twatter - look at Threads or Bluesky racking up new accounts.
