But it is their system that we buy from them?

I haven’t a clue and wouldn’t claim to know.

Made by US defence giant Lockheed who are considering upping their investment in the UK following Brexit. Nothing to see here.

So the arms business has high hopes for life post-Brexit?

The arms industry has been doing alright on account of continuous conflict that we helped create. It’s a big concern of mine that it seems to be one of the few manufacturing industries we have left.

I don’t really buy any of the arguments, but if we have to have nukes, I would far sooner that it was a truly independent solution. Right now, it feels like we’re just holding the US’ weapons for it, paying hundreds of billions to do so and making ourselves a nuclear target into the bargain.

So Theresa says that she will push the button if she needs to. Well to pinch a famous phrase, she would say that wouldnt she? She can hardly say to the world that she will not press the button having just agreed to spend billions of pounds on the system. But everyone knows that she will not press the button. What a farce.

I heard that on radio. It was fkn terrifying, they was openly challenging her to do it!

You won’t push it.

Yes I will.

Go on then.

I will do. I’d love to push it.

She ain’t gonna do it.

Yes I will. I’ve always wanted to push it. I only become Prime Minister so I could push it.

Go on then. What’s stopping you?

I’m doing it. I’ve already told you.

Still don’t see you pushing it.

Fine. Allahu Akhbar!

*BOOM*

Corbyn did.

Our sea based, ongoing, ballistic missiles are American.

We buy an American ballisitc system and at the same time allow them a base at Holy Lock. We do as we are bid.

We don’t need it and haven’t needed it for 25 years. The nuclear arsenal that we ā€œneedā€ we’ve still got and will new get ride of.

I know a bloke who’ll fix 'em all up nice and proper like so’s the subs and missile fings 'll look as good as new…nice and cheap - only Ā£350 very large, which he knows the govt has hidden down the back of the sofa.Cushty. Job done. Next…
