Sailboat diplomacy
The two sports in which we used to be dominant - rowing and cycling, have not been so successful. Co-incidence or down to both sports adopted a more “caring” culture.
The problem with elite sport is that someone is always pushing themselves beyond the limits and if you don’t, you lose.
Probably better drug testing and fewer performance enhancing drugs being taken- maybe?

They absolutely monstered it - Second place wasn’t even close. They could have won by not really contesting the sprints towards the end, but they still won them - they left nothing on the table. Brilliant riding
