If they could play the way they did as soon as injury time appeared for the previous 90 mins it would have been a lot better.

Not great. Not sure why anyone at the FA thought that Southgate was the man to take us forward. Decent enough guy but all the charisma of a stuffed trout and wouldnt get a top Premiership club. Same old same old.
As long as he can get his team playing he could have all the persona of an Easter Island statue for all I care.

Agree with all of that, Goatster. Only saw the second half, and even then not all of it, but I thought Lingard livened things up quite considerably when he came on. I’d like to Rashford in a more central position, but with Kane in the team (as he clearly should be) that probably can’t happen, and Rashford’s certainly worth a place in a wider position anyway.
Is there really not a better holding midfiled pair available than Dier and Henderson though (especially Henderson)? Hard to believe.
There probably is but they don’t play for the big 6 so have no hope in hell.
What’s happened to Danny Drinkwater BTW?? Didn’t he join Chelsea??
