It is a moot point as I canāt vote, its bollocks as I have said but it is there for a reason, do you think Trump did this? It would have been a PR agency, his advisors and many of his media staff, as I say its what the elctorate want or want they believe the elecorate want, its simply business no more no less. Its working as he is leading the polls, when he loses it then he campaign can be questioned? Surely that would make far more sense?

Itās not a moot point. Your inability to vote has not prevented you from sharing other opinions on the subject.
I canāt vote over there; it doesnāt stop me from offering an opinion. Personally, Iād question the judgement and intelligence of anyone that allowed this to go out in their name. Doesnāt matter which actual agent was responsible for implementation. Trump either signed this off, or has so little involvement in his campaign that heās delegating to incompetent people.
My view is that any competent PR person or agency would spot the myriad problems with this idea, dropping it immediately.
It is so fucking ridiculous that Iāve got a nagging feeling that this is going to be the punchline.
You obviously know fuck all about PR. it obviously is working as he is leading the polls, thats all there is to it, no ifs or buts, there will be many liberals, lefties, commies working for Trump as its a job to them, they arenāt the party they are outsorced and are there to do a job, is inner circle would have seen it maye even him, proabably even himbut as I say it makes no difference, resluts are all that counts nothing more, this is politics not a share line.
Okay then, letās ask this a different way. Perhaps weāll inspire an intelligible response.
How many PR firms would enjoy attracting the sort of criticism Trump gets?
āHey, weāre RepresentUrBalls, top PR agency! Weāre proud of our racist and nationalist work, but prouder still of our ability to get into previously impregnable markets, such as prisons. Our 2016 Donald Trump promotion went down very well with certain prison population demographicsā
Iām not sure you appreciate just how much of a departure from civilised political discourse this represents. Trump isnāt talking about renationalising the railways or democratising public services. Heās talking about preventing around two billion people from being able to enter the US, and having identifying markings similar to those doled out to Jews under Nazi rule. This is incredibly divisive stuff and people are concerned for very obvious reasons.
Itās great that youāre offering free career advice on Sotonians, but think of yourself first. Iām not comfy being the beneficiary of your wisdom when youāre still missing so much yourself, in much the same way as I wouldnāt accept a meal from a starving person.
Once youāve got basic history, comprehension and the answer to 2+2 sorted - Iāll feel a shitload better about accepting your career advice. I retire in 2042. Do you think youāll be ready before then?
Heās talking about preventing around two billion people from being able to enter the US,
Do you genuinely believe this or does it simply fit your agenda?
The PR is working get over it, I know people who worked on various things against their politics, its called a job Pap. no more no less.
Heās talking about preventing all Muslims from entering US āuntil they figure something outā.
Thatās two billion people.

Yes Pap he is tallking about it as its popular hence he is in the lead, this bit we do know, what we dont is whether he would do that?
Do you believe he would do it?
Could he constitutionally do it?
How could he do it?
Its populist shite, like school fees etc etc
Forgive me if I am wrong, but I reckon weāre now at the point where youāre arguing that Trump is just bullshitting about his plans for the US in order to gain power. I think thatās something of a long shot. I think it more likely that heās simply playing on the known and manufactured fears of the US public, knowing that there are plenty of people out there thatāll go for it.
The question everyone is asking; Trump, US voters and the rest of the world, is will he get enough?
I think he is serious about his plans, and I have never made the claim that he doesnāt have a hope. Quite the opposite, if anything. He is appealing to the lowest common denominator, doing it very well. Theyāre not the sort of people that are going to scrutinise his legislation.
The US hasnāt been overburdened with great Presidents since FDR, and Dubya was genuinely thick as fuck. Everyone knew that going in, and a team was built around him that would give the little gibbon things to say and they kept the fucker on vacation for over 40% of his first year in office.
From all that Iāve learned about Trump, I reckon he has the potential to be far more dangerous. Dubya knows heās an idiot, and pays people to think for him. Trump thinks heās the shit, and will surround himself with people that think with him.
I dont disagree with anything you have said there but his PR is shit hot and its working and thats my point.
And you conveniently failed to answer my 3 questions.
NO to all 3 there I saved you the trouble.
Iām still searching for answers, even if I have to invent them. Somewhat depressing that this actually feels more plausible than the presented truth
There is the conspricy theory that Trump is actually a democrat plant, its worked too well though
So, Sarah Palin came out in support of Trump yesterday. Because, of course she did.
The Trump now has the support of plenty of right-wing nutters Palin, White Supremacist hub Stormfront, KKK and our very own Barry.
Speaking of, has anyone ever seen BS & Palin in the same place? Granted I havenāt met the man, but based on his posting, this is kind of how I imagine him.
I did think it amusing that one of the most celebrated thicky politicians threw her weight behind old Trumpola. I know I was jesting about Hillary and Trump being in cahoots, but heās gotta be gold dust for here right now. She can present herself as the only candidate strong enough to beat Trump; even people who dislike her might vote for her with him as the alternative.
The US doesnāt really pick great leaders. Even Obama hasnāt really delivered on much of his promise, but most of the post-Kennedy candidates have been stinkers, even though many of them were adept at making themselves smell of roses.
Do you know, I didnāt think that the Merikan public would be stupid enough to actually throw their weight behind Trump, but after watching Selma last night that view has taken a 180 degree shift.
Itās the system though, isnāt it. Obama was always onto a hiding to nothing. Riding such a tidal wave of popularity is always going to raise expectations to unrealistic levels.
The Americans then go and set him up to fail. They elect a progressive, Black (that shouldnāt matter anything, but sadly itās a big deal in the States) President then return Republican Congresses.
This is a country that reacts to universal healthcare, Obamacare, which would provide pretty basic healthcare by our standards to the most vulnerable people in the country with cries of Communism. Any attempts to shift away from a society where it is easier to buy guns than cigarettes, alcohol or (legal) weed are met with cries of traitor.
The Republicans were determined to make Obama fail. Not because they disliked the policies, but because he was a Black Democrat. Remember the whole thing with the budget the other year? Republicans were willing to play brinkmanship with the economy, services and peopleās jobs just to get one over on Obama.
Heck, these are people that claim that Obama hates America and itās citizens, then will openly mock the guy for showing his despair at having to repeatedly hear of mass shootings/murders and be completely hamstrung in trying to save these peoples lives.
Thatās not to say Obama is perfect. He has his flaws, and has made some balls ups along the way. His foreign policy has been confsued, and stuttering at times for one example. But he was never going to get a great deal done. He was mostly a pacifier to the Black communities, āHere, you got your Black President now STFUā. The kicker is, in recent years (the āObama yearsā if you will) White Supremacist groups have seen a surge in popularity. Hence the popularity of Trumps virulently racist and facist posturing.
That country scares the living shit out of me. It really does.
Care to back that up? Why is it ok for the extreme left fascists to label but they shit themselves offended when the sandal is on the other foot, sour grapes thats all, ithe plight of American politics is full if the democrats need Clinton, another dynasty obsessed yank who pretends to be on the side of the poor.

Back up what, exactly?
Your support of Trump is well documented. As is that of the others I listed. As Iām at work, Iām not going to go scouring KKK and Stormfront sites, thanks.
Can you point to where I have posted anything in support of Clinton?
And I mean, as always, that lack of self-awareness is blinding. āWhy do people label meā¦ā then immediately throws out a bunch of labels.
And thatās why rock stars limit the amount of substance they use before going on stage.
