I am pretty certain that when this thread opened I said Trump as a laugh in the poll if Pap or Bletch would confirm that.
The point is, that the Chattering Classes are vocal. (eg Pap on Twitter). They explain things in that rational way and actually help reinforce staus quo, but then once every so often the PEOPLE turn round and say FUCK THIS. Nobody âSEESâ it coming yet if you step back it is so obvious. Chattering Classes NEVER listen and never observe, everyone said Trump is Evil, very few asked how the hell is Trump still here and why are people supporting him. Chatterers would say they were thick or uninformed, they never listened to the REASONS. Some 50 Year Old bloke whoâs Farm Factory has closed in Idaho is NOT going to retrain to be a Web Developer. Tru,mp listened to them. Gave them what they wanted to hear.
So the Media invite their chattering classes and they all show every bad part of the campaign and how evil people are, and yet in 3 elections in row now, the âSilent Majorityâ have come out and said fuck this.

Point is as I have made for years, the Political System is self perpetuating and (MOST) politicians and CIvil Servants act to only avoid fucking up and keeping the status quo - ie their snout in the trough. Change never actually happens, only shit.
Trump has won, not sure how many of you are old enough to remember we HAVE been here before. The US actually elected a Republican whoâs Brain was Missing, Christ, people were running to the Fall Out Shelters as the results came in. Yet he is remembered more fondly by USA than most Presidents since.
Trump is in, Good luck to him, he will need it, maybe heâll talk to Putin and stop the slaughter in Syria and cozying up to Israel & those donators to the Clinton FOundation that so slewed the Democrat view of things.
Gonna make our Summer Meltdowns seem like a fight over Conkers.

Just woken up and seen the news - i am vexed - my morning shit is not being ts usual calm moment of reflection
As with BREXIT - the people have responded in the way the division seekers have wanted - those such as IS have wanted nothing more than to divide; they win as fear wins and we put up more isolationist walls - the Western lurch to âtaking my country backâ is fucking scary as its symbolic of a new culture of fear and distrust, a perfect environment to let division and intolerance fester and grow.

Hillary used her political connections to sweep all other Democratic opponents aside. Sanders would have given Trump a run for his money, perhaps even won.
Instead, her presence has been a huge factor in the success Trump has had. Thereâs a whole Anyone-But-Clinton camp. Massively divisive candidate and a massively self-deluding Democratic Party.

on a serious note, there is somewhat of a revolution going on in mainstream politics at the moment. Corbyn, an outsider, shaking up the Labour Party. brexit. Trump, an outsider. the people have stop listening the establishment.
