šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø šŸ’£ The US Presidential Race

More war with Clinton or an isolationist US if Trump wins, either way the free World is screwed.

I’m still not sure about how this is going to turn out - the likelihood is a narrow Clinton victory but Trump has every chance of beating her. While pretty much everyone sees Trump as a sleazy, brash moron, Clinton is a slick manoeuvrerer who is far more dangerous in some ways than her opponent. As Pap and others have said, she’s an unapologetic warmongerer which poses problems in today’s volatile climate. That’s about the only way in which Trump has her beat, although I dread the thought of either of them being in charge for 4 years.

The Young Turks on YouTube had an interesting discussion a few weeks back about the Democratic selection process, where they said that if HRC had more competition than just Bernie (god bless him) she would’ve been comprehensively beaten like Jeb Bush was in the Republican primaries. If you had the likes of Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg etc involved in the race, she would’ve been out on here arse - her reputation is absolute trash and she’s only here because the Democratic superdelegates didn’t want to put themselves behind Bernie.

Here’s something you might like to read.

The most salient point:

"

Furthermore, Tapper’s news-report provided essential context for that statement of hers (context which was also reflected in CNN’s report that was based on his), and this essential context changes in a very important way the meaning of the excerpt just cited: Ā«Clinton further displayed tough talk in an interview airing on ā€˜Good Morning America’ Tuesday. ABC News’ Chris Cuomo asked Clinton ** what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons**. ā€˜I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran,’ Clinton said. ā€˜In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.’» That news-report by Tapper included a streamer saying, Ā«Watch the full interview with Sen. Hillary Clinton on ā€˜GMA’ TuesdayĀ», but it’s actually dead (there’s no link there), and ABC provides no transcript at all, nor even a video with that segment; so, Tapper’s account is the only remaining source regarding the interview. However, from the veracity-checks I routinely do, I have found that Tapper, unlike Lendman (and unlike Establishment ā€˜reporters’ in general), can be trusted, because I’ve found the assertions that he makes to be true, at least so far as they go, even if at a deeper level some of his statements are misleading (in favor of the standard misconceptions, of course – but that’s not involved here).

In any case, because ABC fails to provide online-access to the original of that GMA segment, Tapper’s account of it is the original, for present purposes. And, what it shows is that when Hillary was asked Ā«what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weaponsĀ», her answer was Ā«I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack IranĀ»."

Nothing like a bit of context, eh?

Clinton is thoroughly unlikable, owned by coprorate America, plus other things it’s unwise to commit to writing.

But to consider her more dangerous that Trump is laughable.

He would bomb Mexico tomorrow if he got out of bed the wrong side, he’s a delusional nutter.

Two fantastic articles about the rise of Trump that are very well worth reading.

I wasn’t aware of that context. I’ll concede that.

I am aware of what she was able to do in Libya as mere secretary as state. Same old problem, guv.

She’s a warmonger.

She’s a warmonger and he’s a fucking loon.

I suspect that she is the least offensive of the two appalling candidates.

I would trust her to kill less people on a whim.

Inside Donald Trump’s Last Stand: An Anxious Nominee Seeks Assurance

The contrasts pervade his campaign. Aides to Mr. Trump have finally wrested away the Twitter account that he used to colorfully — and often counterproductively — savage his rivals. But offline, Mr. Trump still privately muses about all the ways he will punish his enemies after Election Day, including a threat to fund a ā€œsuper PACā€ with vengeance as its core mission.

Trumps own team don’t trust him with his Twitter account. But yeah, just put him in control of a massive nuclear arsenal and the largest military in the world.

'Coz y’know, Clintons emails?

She’s probably responsible for many of the African refugees taking their chances on the Med.

Whatever you thought of Gaddafi’s regime, it enforced its interior. After Hillary was done with it, it was porous.

She has already helped to destroy a country and exacerbate a migrant crisis. After she learned that Gaddafi had been sodomised and lynched, her quotation was ā€œWe came, we saw, he diedā€.

They’re both potentially dangerous. Only one has proven to be actually dangerous to the rest of the world, Trump’s golf course in Scotland excepted.

Clinton is intelligent, has power, has contacts and wants a dynasty/legacy.

Trump is in it for the ego, he’ll be like Obama was and would be controlled by others from behind.

Clinton is far far more dangerous to the World and World peace than Trump, Trump isn’t dangerous at all, he’s a buffoon who would be controlled Clinton couldn’t be reigned in.

Quite a few people have already voted by post, but the main event begins in around four minutes time.

At 6:00am EST, people will be voting on the East Coast.

You are probably right - she would kill them after thinking about it

I find it interesting that Clinton is a puppet owned by her donors, but cannot be controlled.

But Trump is not owned by donors, so not controlled by anyone, but can be controlled.

Talk of controlling rw Fascists reminds me of someone else? How’d that go?

Really don’t get how people can see what is happening with Trump & Russia less scary to be honest. Their shared love for authoritarianism, brutality, breaking up NATO and the like.

Clinton is, essentially, any other politician. Up to her neck in dirty political dealing from a lifetime in politics. Trump is only not involved in that because he’s never held office (somehow, that’s a good thing?), but he’s involved in just as much dirty dealing.

As for killing, how you can not be concerned by a guy that has meltdowns everytime someone criticises him I don’t know. Especially coming from a guy that talks about wanting to use nukes, and wants more countries in the world to have them. It’s not as if he’s never shown blood list before, dude paid for full page adverts to get 5 young black men killed for a crime they didn’t commit - and despite dna evidence, refuses to admit their innocence.

He’s a straight up fascist dictator waiting to happen. Clinton ain’t likeable, sure, but she’s a cog in the wheel, establishment politician. There’s no way the latter is more dangerous than the former.

Libya.

Nice web site. I particularly liked all the links down the right side of the page:

Pentagon decides to officially support Al-Qaeda in Syria

Hillary Clinton is ā€œa danger to the worldā€ says France’s Marine le Pen

Leaked memo shows how George Soros planned to overthrow Vladimir Putin and destabilise Russia

China rolls out red carpet for Vladimir Putin at G20. Obama forced to exit Air Force One from emergency door

5 reasons the US has already decided to go to war with Russia

NSA whistleblower says DNC hack was not done by Russia, but by US intelligence

The piece de resistance, though, is one of the video links at the top of the page, titled ā€œAttempted Assassination of Donald Trumpā€. Priceless.

Don’t know about you, but I see a kind of pattern emerging there. Not that this means that the story you’ve linked to isn’t true, of course. But its credibility sure as hell isn’t helped by all of that other shit.

It’s from a Wikileaks cable. That website just happened to be one of the many outlets covering the Tick Tock emails. In hindsight, I should have linked the PDF directly, but I’m kinda glad I didn’t.

This has been revealing.
