Yeah, not a good buy. Hopefully another team will know how to actually use his attributes.
Would be a shame to see Alcarez go, but inevitable i s’pose. Definitely has something about him and think he can do well. The lure of CL football will be too much even if he spends most of the season as a sub.
Alcaraz is on a long contract. It is going to seriously cost them if they want him, as it should.
This is worth a listen. I must admit I do like how he comes across.
For all the talk about the possession obsessed way of playing, he was quick to praise Ralph’s work off the ball and said it’ll be incorporated. But what was particularly interesting was his reference to our dynamic forwards and not having that at Swansea.
No names mentioned but you would like to assume he’s talking about Tella, Sulemana and Adams. Maybe Adam Armstrong… I suppose, given he’s scored goals at this level before. But you wouldn’t talk that way of Djenepo and Edozie. Even if the latter has potential. So have decisions been made already to keep certain players?

Nice to see that from the lad!!
I wonder if Romeo enjoyed the trip to Blackpool.

I’m a bit relieved that they have said from the outset that he will play in the Under 21s this season. That gives us a glimmer of hope that the club learned from buying a bus load of kids last summer, and maybe even some hope of keeping Tino…?

Started well, got injured and became a bit of a liability. Wouldn’t be bothered to see him leave, especially abroad.

I would slightly disagree. Started brilliantly, albeit with an obvious lack of experience, shown via occasional positioning errors. Got in the German team based on his performances. Aggressive, tough, not bundled aside, calm under pressure, reasonable pace.
Injuries slowed his progress for sure, coupled with the team going backwards. Think he may do very very well after a settled period in a team which is not shit.
Lyanco to Besiktas looks all but done. He’s one of the few players I’d thought would really do the business for us in the Championship, bit pissed off about it if I’m honest.
it would be quite amusing if we sold the lot and only JWP remained given he was supposed to be the crown jewel
What did you think we were doing?
I’m certainly not doubting his potential or ability when ‘on it’. Just recall a number of bad performances towards the end of the season. You’re right, being in a shit team wouldn’t have helped.
But if he left to a foreign club I’d forget about him pretty soon.
Did i miss this?

Goalkeeper from Man City
Yeah.
Twitter seems to be a mess
Twitter was always a mess, but it recently got worse because Twitter’s hosting contract with Google expired on June 30th and Elon doesn’t want to pay the bill for a new contract
