I did think (hoped?) that our new signings would come good so his loss would be less keenly felt. Its always the way - these players in the DM role who quietly go about their business - no one raving about them and its only when they had gone you realise that they were the fairy dust that turned a side of journeymen into a half decent team
I also didn’t expect to have the Welsh twat foisted upon us
