Gotcha! :+1:

Bought for £15. 5 year contract. Depreciate at £3m a year. Book value now £9m.
Sell at £15m make £6m profit this year. And save wages
Ralph has £15m in the pot.

I follow that logic Phil if he was being linked with a newly promoted side or there was no real interest.

IF Utd are interested then £18M undervalues him.

Normally I’d agree. But Ralph needs 1> Cash 2> a smaller squad

How many farking keepers do we have?

  1. In Ralph we trust.
  1. Not going to go with the whole Lemina is a sh1t thing. WHEN he signed he (and the club) clearly stated that one of the reasons he chose us was because we are a stepping stone. NOT Lemina, but the CLUB. So giving him a 5 year deal and asking him to give us 2 years is NOT Lemina’s fault. Equally in that interview it states clearly that the club re-iterated that point.
We did not see the best of him. His injury meant we likely won’t (for once) make a big profit on a player.

  2. PEH was pretty rubbish in his 1st season, only improved with regular game time which he actually really only got last season. And of course, we have the Redmond example (where many muppets still think he is shit) So again, I’m happy to wait and see whether Elyounoussi actually steps up in his second season. He showed glimpses that he has talent.

  3. Cedric is a class footballer, happy to have him back in the team IF he fits in with the system, sure he could be better in the air but we won’t buy anyone better than him.

  4. Hoedt. Well. I’ve given others the benefit of the second season doubt. Honestly cannot see it but we have to get rid of one of Stephens or Hoedt surely. IF as reported Stephens is on 45k a week just who is going to take him off our hands? Maybe we can get a Groupon deal together for United? They are short of quality footballing centre halves?? :lou_eyes_to_sky::upside_down_face::wink:

Hmm, I think he had his head turned by the Portugal winning the Euros thing (like Fonte) and I think he thought he was better than Southampton.

I think his experience in Italy may have tempered this. I hope that he comes back a better (and more committed) player.

At least I know who I’ll be moaning about this season

I’m wondering whether this may be aimed at some of the nippers around the squad last season who didn’t go to Austria.
I feel dirty but a few interesting discussions about “attitude” popped up on different fiverweb threads.
And on here cough pubs

He flew up there this morning to have his medical.

FWIW I’m told Ralph has the deal agreed for our new CB.
That is all I have.
Speculation? Waiting for the cash & someone Ralph knows
