There was a tweet a while ago from one of the German clubs that said the income from seats was minimal compared to the income from TV deals and league positions, that’s why the only charge £20 (not real figure) for seats.
£53 is pricing fans out of the game, maybe they want the prawn brigade or corporate or, heaven forbid, an empty stadium…
The German clubs have fan ownership - they probably would charge it if they could get it by the fans
