Itās not just the invasions. The bombings and the proxy wars cause just as much shit. It is no coincidence or surprise that Europe, especially Italy, experienced a migrant crisis when Gaddafi was taken out.
The human slave markets that sprung up afterward were something of a shock, though.
From a sporting perspective, yes.
We can argue about the economics and politics of the situation, but those arguments should not be allowed to impact the sporting integrity of the competition.
