Absolutely trollied fell in the swimming pool twice aledgedly ( no recall)
But I didn’t upset anybody so that is a bonus and I slept in until 9:45 which is a plus

I can recommend Brasserie Blanc in Jewry Street. Big place with a classic French menu and a few modern twists.
eg: I had Cheese Soufflé, Suckling Pig with prune and fennel stuffing, gooseberry compote and veg, Tarte au citron and some nice wine.
Not all at once. That would be weird.
Mrs G had same main course but potted crab starter and cheese from an extensive list for pudding.
MOL had Bouillabaise main course (yum) and Kid Goat excelled herself with a very rare burger with comté cheese. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Prices reasonable too. £160 for 4.

Don’t know if anyone saw it last night. Classic, with Miriam Margolis dropping the C-bomb a couple of timed. The banter during the ads and afterwards wad excellent.
They seem to genuinely enjoy what they do and it shows on and off cameraTop girl Miriam for giving a lift home to a couple in the audience who lived near her in Clapham Junction.
Highly recommended

It’ll be a much needed day off today.
We went into town to watch ms pap’s cousin fight at the Hilton. Her cousin won his fight on points, which was good. I shouted a lot during his fight. One man army.
The evening wasn’t as professional as the last one I went to. There were a lot of people fighting for the first time, in aid of Alder Hey charities. Most of the early fights on the ticket were duffers in which no-one looked capable of knocking the other out, but fair play to them. You wouldn’t see me in that ring.
I did make a personal observation while observing the ring girls. Almost anyone can be made to look fit with enough makeup and a suitable lack of clothing. This is one of the reasons that Liverpool spends more per capita on beauty than any other city in the UK*.
*The other reason is the huge amount of drug money that gets laundered through these places.

Today I tried Original Punk IPA from the source (Brewdog bar) and it was shit. Strong (6.0%) but no flavour. Back on the non original version now and much better for it.
