Thanks to a bug I had a totally sober Christmas Day, probably for the first time in at least 50 years. My Christmas feast was a small egg sandwich, a mince pie and a banana.
Opened a bottle of wine last night but felt so rough gave up after two small glasses. 
You and me both…
Had a glass of red on Christmas day and it knocked me for six. Only just getting back to normal now.

Does 16° actually mean 16%? Because that’s half as strong again as Tennents tramp juice, and twice as strong as Carlsberg Special Brew. In fact, it’s stronger than most wines.

I arrived in the land of smiles last night absolutely done in after the flight. Crashed out at 8 pm, slept right through until 7-30 this morning so hopefully that will take care of the jet lag. Tonight I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I venture out and get stuck in. To the local ales I mean Scotty, calm down lad!
