This evening, one has oysters. Rather splendid. To be washed down with a cheeky Muscadet, followed by moules marinière and probably more Muscadet.

Life is good.

You can’t win in my house. I’ve still got quite a bit of my birthday booze, so Gingora pops in today to congratulate me on its unexpected longevity.

I have just nipped out to get my first drink of the day and this same woman that was congratulating me earlier growls “it’s not a race”.

Fucking is now, love. I had too much Rage Against The Machine in my formative years.

Pretty damn good, if I say so myself.

Had to go back to check as when I first saw this, i thought you had dined in some prehistoric giant arthropod…

Tonight was a simple but rather good home made Lasagne… secret is the nutmeg in the béchamel… a few swift G+Ts whilst cooking the Fucker

After a week of sanding and painting, i am now having a wee indulgence

For some reason I can’t explain, ever since I saw someone do this with mussel shells, I have to do it. It’s strangely satisfying.

In a restaurant it’s also amusing seeing the waiter’s reaction. Some actually acknowledge it being cool, others are unimpressed, but the best are the snooty ones who haven’t seen it before, are amused by it but desperately try not to show it.

Yes, I know. Very childish.:rofl:

Looks like the charred Bellends after a roasted penis eating competition

I find a touch of English mustard powder added to the bechamel enhances it

Yes, very similar but I’m giving roasted penis a miss this week.

BBQ earlier with some friends we haven’t seen for ages, now shivering in the garden with port and cheese…

strange names your friend have

I worked with someone with the nickname Cheese. Port, no.

Its why I remarked as a great coincidence to have mates called Cheese AND Port, round for. BBQ at the same time!

Port sounds a bit left-wing for me.
