I am going to my local this evening with a few friends to meet up with an old mate of us all, who now lives in France after landing a good job out there. He hasn’t been back for a couple of years, here for a wedding tomorrow and to watch Everton v Spurs on Sunday. I haven’t been out for a pint for 3 weeks as i have been a bit poorly, so i am champing at the bit now. Given the high standards of ale consumption my companions are capable of setting i hope i don’t peak too early and disgrace myself.

Hello everyone. Another slightly tipsy night. This time without bruises (still unsure how I got one last weekend).
Somehow avoided all the delays on train and got into Southampton before 8pm. 2 pubs, 3 large g&its and I’ve forgotten what work was like.
Now in the spare room with 2 westies.
