I followed Fatso’s link and read a few comments… I nearly stopped reading when somebody suggested Nigel Adkins coming back until the summer…but I persisted. A few posts later somebody suggested Roy Hodgson…at that point I stopped reading. FML

What have you got against Nigel? Why would you deny him the heroes welcome he would surely get? Nigel and Saints are a match made in heaven. We have a shared history. Nigel is Saints and Saints is Nigel. And if you cannot see that then you need to take a look in the mirror, mate. When you get what you want in your struggle for self, and the world makes you king for a day. Just go to the mirror and look at yourself and see what that man has to say. For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife whose judgment upon you must pass. The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life is the one staring back from the glass. He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest, for he’s with you, clear to the end and you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test. If the man in the glass is your friend. Nothing against Nige, I miss his unwavering optimism in the face of a 6-1 defeat! Who knows…the way we’re going that could come in handy pretty soon! Whoever made the comment was basing it on the fact that Nige was in the crowd. I took that as a desperate clutching at straws.
But if anyone thinks Hodgson is a good idea then they can go swivel

Another one of my dreams and memories trashed on Sotonians 
We did get it together after though, but still we were patchy at times.
But don’t get me started on the premier league season 2012/13.
