Les said in 2014 he knew what he was doing along with the club, they don’t, they got lucky with signing managers who knew the market, they fucked off as soon as they saw we only was to spend £14.25 to get and stay in the Champions League, football in the modern era isn’t quite like that, so they lower expectations and now call ourselves a small club.
Kruegar must genuinely think we’re stupid, the moneyball system only works if there’s lower risk ie no relegation, you have to spend to keep players or you won’t progress, its cyclical football and we haven’t planned for it, the academy is plainly no where near as good as our North Korean videos suggest and we’ve hired 2 poor managers on the spin, or shall I say 2 managers who can’t motivate players in that squad.

At first glance the £30m looks like an obvious stumbling block.
However, the quote from Klopp suggests that Liverpool may be prepared to part finance the deal. Like a down payment for later. Very savvy as it will protect against the effects of inflation.

No I dont think that they are there for me and my happiness. I chose to support this club in 1966. It was my decision. I could have supported Manchester United, Arsenal, any other club but I chose this one. I take full responsibility for sticking to a club through thick and (lots of) thin. Just as you do. The difference is I dont lose it big time when things dont go well. As for cultish blind enthusiasm. Seriously? I am happy to give the club credit when they have done well, which they have for over 7 years now. Unless you see consecutive promotions, 4 top 8 finsishes in a row and a very decent performance in the cup last year as not doing well? Yep, things are not good at the moment and they may well not be for a while. It goes with the territory and I am prepared to give the Board slack as I feel they have earned it. If we go down, and we are not down yet despite the bed wetters thinking we are, then it is the Board’s job to get us back up again. You can slag them off all you like but that isnt really going to help is it, other than as same kind of theraputic release for your own pent up frustrations and inadequacies. This is the tail end of a reply I wrote on another forum, applies just as well here methinks
But you know what, shit happens, if the club get relegated and Mr Gao does recoup some of his money we’ll still support the team. At the end of the day we’re supporters of the club, we have very little say in how the club is run, I find the best way to get on with my life is be very sanguine about it. What happens will happen!!

Guan 2.0 is a funny one - he obviously has an axe to grind now, probably because he got sacked or disciplined for some reason and no longer has any ITK status whatsoever - but everyone on Fiver Mountain still think he has some sort of inside track and are hanging off his every word.
It seems obvious to me that the real reason he’s suddenly so anti-MP and the anti-board is that he’s no longer being fed any info with which to puff up his ego. He seems upset.
