I’ve just dashed over to Spain to watch the lads play against Bordeaux…the rest of you can watch on “Saints Play” 10am KO.

however, while Girona is unlikely to become affected by protests against tourism, it isn’t just Barcelona, quite a few resorts are being targeted across Spain. Benidorm comes as no great surprise, plus Malaga and quite a few others. My sister is flying to Mallorca on Saturday, where the protests are particularly fierce. She’s an old-skool lefty, it wouldn’t surprise me to see her on the weekend news alongside the protesters chanting “what do we want? JOBS!! When do we want them? NOW!!!”
