I’m glad they killed off you know who as was not my favourite character…

But was really fucked off with the ad placed in the 2nd commercial break…. :exploding_head::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Luckily no ads here.
Other than for Cadiz, Jerez Airport, Tallinn, Croatia & Budapest

The BBC made the right decision to complete their Masterchef The Professionals series.

It has always been about the young chefs, not Wallace and they deserved their final and place in the Sun.

And what a great season it was, what a great story/find

No wonder there were some moist eyes at the end.

Loudermilk - how the fuck did I miss this? Brilliantly funny, vicious yet soft centre. Love it (all series now on Netflix

It’s brilliant isn’t it.

Is there a new series? Last I saw was there was just the one.

3 seasons on Netflix, not sure how many there were in total

Marvellous- will have a look see. :+1:

I guess nothing on TV again tonight…

You mean no “Strictly, bake off in the jungle without talent in drag”?

Shame

:roll_eyes::joy:

Oh really

Why do they need judges though?

Fwiw Chris was absolutely superb on HIGNFY a week ago doing his day job

Watching Silo on Apple TV. On series 2…the optimist in me is still watching for something to happen.

1st episodes of S2 were hard because at least somebody didn’t do something at the rnd of S1.

With so many other things to watch atm i’m still plodding along but the show is becoming something to watch instead of seeing Saints Lose/England Collapse again.

It stays in watching mode because of Rebecca Ferguson obv

Mental

Precision liw level bombing out of DCQ0’S C130s

Firemen using chainsaws and dragiing ONE MILE of hose pipes

The Old Man maybe Disney, maybe Prime

Well this is good. It is a Spy Action Thriller. No it is not.
It’s a slow paced dull existential non love story. No it isn’t.

It’s both more and less than that. In some ways it is a Slow Horses but then it is shit at being thst.

It has Jeff Bridges & John Lithgow being superb , for me that is it. That’s thecreason to watch and stick with it.

It all starts in Soviet era Afghanistan and pops up in the CIA, FBI, and many points in between.

Is it worth staying with?
There’s a Season 2 and Jeff Bridges being some kind of Rambo/James Bond at his age with brains is all of us

The Agency. Paramount +
Rated 7.8/10 on IMDB.
A List cast of Fassbender, Wright & Gere plus strong support.
Solid DNA from the French series that started it all.
CIA out of London Embassy story.

Like The Old Man, great concept in ep1 but it sort of bumbles along with a story broadening but never really going. Some Addis stuff, some Ukraine stuff, some Iran stuff.

So the middle episodes are good TV but kind of more fillers, it is a fight to remember to watch the next episode (unlike Skeleton Crew)

Then Episode 8. Ah. Now the reward for the dawdling story as the pieces come together. Now i can’t wait for Ep 9.

Both this and The Old Man surely owe a nod to the indifferent realism displayed by Slow Horses.
Strong leads, dysfunctional Spy stuff. Neither comes close obviously but they feel more Gary Oldman than Tom Cruise/James Bond
