And Season 5 confirmed!

Right, off to spend a convivial hour in the company of Dr Alice Roberts.

She’s in good shape for 50

Absolutely - she’s come a long way since being a trench-rat on Time Team back in the day - and done wonders for getting women into archaeological related science.

Even though I am not impressed with the decision to start charging £2.99 per month for ad-free Prime, I continue to be impressed with Fargo season five, now nearing its ten-episode conclusion. There are in fact just two episodes to come.

The theme of this season is toxic masculinity and there are some very toxic males on display. John Hamm is one of the most frightening antagonists of the show simply because of the office his character holds. He’s the sheriff and has literally been getting away with murder for years.

He’s obsessed with getting his old wife back, who fled him a decade ago to escape its abuse.

Domestic abuse isn’t an easy subject to cover - but Fargo makes some inspired choices to deliver the message without showing the detail.

It’s not often that the fifth season of a TV show is its best and the jury is still out, but barring not sticking the landing in the next two episodes, I think this may qualify.

Agreed 100%, though I am up to Ep 7.

Although Hamm is brilliant, I absolutely love Jennifer Jason Leigh’s performances.

Edit. Watched Ep8. Properly dark

Just watched it (ep. 1) - as always gentle entertainment - the asides to camera / banter with the crew are good.

Worth a watch

Now on to The Kemps: All Gold

Reacher is a bit shit this year. Basically Team Reacher, in which the cast spend most of their time sitting around tables or walking slowly through ransacked apartments.

Four episodes in, i am bored and am hiving it up.

Which of course is a shame, but understandable at that point.
Ep5 brings things together a bit more Ep6 is …

Takes Bus W*nkery to a new level
