Yes - clocked that. I quite like the fact he was pissed for not scoring, but equally looked anoyed that someone else had… he’s busting for a goal, difficult to fault that
“We want the finest Haribo available to humanity. And we want them here, and we want them now.”
In contrast - the occasionally petulant Tadic was genuinely chuffed when Hesketh scored - you can see him beaming and applauding from the touchline
I have remembered - cave de Pere Auguste, free tasting and phenomenal value.
I will be fishing/drinking near a lake.
Has Austin put back that divot from the penalty spot yet?
It’s a brave player who chooses to shin a spot kick into the corner on the 4th bounce rather than just strike it with his foot.
It all seems to be coming together. The players always needed time to adjust to the manager and his formation/tactics. 3 wins in a row And, Palace put out a strong team.

Just back from the game. Almost gave it a miss as I have a lot on a the mo but glad I made the effort.
Our back 4 were excellent tonight. Yoshi didn’t put a foot wrong, both fullbacks got forward well and Fonte looked back to his best. Palace didn’t get a sniff.
Reed was a liitle careless with his passing at times but had a solid game.
Hesketh was very good. His positioning, vision, range of passing and workrate were all top notch. Thoroughly deserved his goal.
3 wins in 3. Rubber sheet sales have plummeted.
On to West Ham.
I’m off to deepest darkest Loire Valley so keep the match thread going chaps.
Chateau La Grille in Chinon is worth a visit. Lovely drop. There is also a winery in Chenonceau that does a cracking Sauvignon
I have remembered - cave de Pere Auguste, free tasting and phenomenal value.
I’m off to Butlins in Minehead in 2 weeks
. There is a fucking great river at Chenonceau. Runs underneath the castle

There’s a very average Wetherspoons in Minehead serving slightly below average food.

I thought they had all been closed down due to them being like that French camp in Calais?
