Wish I hadnāt
Russ was taught a lesson by an experienced prem manager. Push the midfield back, force us wide and we flounder. Strikers play as wingers and no one through the middle. But Russ will learn and heāll improve. Hopefully the players will too.
Takeaways from that game - imho of course
KWP is our best player.
Dibling in for either Smallbone or Aribo is a no brainer.
Letting them get 11 men get behind the ball will never result in a goal irrespective of how often the back 3 pass between each other.
We need an out and out attacking midfielder (which could be Fernandes)

I can see that never happening. In a lot of ways, Dibling reminds me of Josh Sims; subbed on a few times, eager, sharp, gets the crowd behind him, makes a proper nuisance of himself and seems to worry the oppositionā¦then never gets picked again.
Dibling was on for a total of 12 minutes and got my man of the match, McCartheif ran him a close secondā¦anyone disagree?
