How about fuck off

So Saints are at the top of the table, with all those really big, historic and famous clubs trailing in our wake.

I just can’t believe we’re above Leicester, Wolves and Villa.

Yes. Ralph mentioned in his interview ā€œluringā€ them forward to create channels. It happened time and time again - we pass around at the back, looking a bit risky, they look for a tackle/interception, suddenly one slick pass forward to JWP/Armstrong/Walcott in space and we’re running straight at them whilst they’re still thinking about the press that just failed. Very intelligent football.

Why would he take a step down? And he’s invested so much time coaching players to be a very special team playing intelligent football. The prima donnas at MU wouldn’t take kindly to bring coached or told to get fit.

During the game I was thinking just how enjoyable it is watching us compared to under Puel and Pellegrino. Chalk and cheese. We are definitely getting better with the ball nowadays as well, compared to last season when we didn’t really want it that much.

Opposition managers often comment about gifting us sloppy goals but that is exactly what we are trying to achieve by design. Both goals came from pressuring and dispossessing the opponent right outside their 18 yard line.

If we play in the same manner as we have been in the last 4 games then fans have got nothing to complain about when they return.

I was really impressed with Vestergaard last night. Several times, just when I was thinking ā€œstop fucking about with itā€ he hit a crisp pass through the middle straight to feet, cutting out a whole load of Newcastle players pressing to get the ball and setting off another attack. Excellent, with both feet too. He has really surprised me this season

Same but I wasn’t prepared to say it and jinx it. Well done, I hope you’re happy!

It was more noticeable last night as we had a makeshift left back with no left foot who gave it away every time he tried to pass it more than 5 yards.

I always watch the channel with natural noise and not the fake crowd noise. Last night you could hear him organising quite a lot and sorting out the defensive walls etc. He is starting to become what I was anticipating he would be when we signed him.

Fair play to him because I didn’t think he had a way back.

There were some who questioned the Walcott signing and giving Boufal away for peanuts. However, last night has demonstrated precisely how much better off we are from that bit of business this season.

Sky say Utd are talking to Pochettino. Much more likely IMO

Totally agree. Now he has confidence there is a footballer with an incredible eye for a pass in there. Against WBA he was pinging 40 yard crossfield balls with his left foot right onto a dime. Last night he was doing 15-20 yard through balls with his right foot. he is no Beckenbauer yet but his composure is a key element of how we now play

Apparently Theo broke his hand during the first half of the game last night.

I have changed my mind about his transfer
