šŸŽµ Sotonian's Musical Chain

Ill? Maybe you need a shot of something…

I wouldn’t want anyone to read too much into this, but the following link in the chain was the first record I ever bought

Good choice. My fave Harrison song

The sun is a star, probably. So here’s Mazzy Star

I actually dated Hope Sandoval for a few months back in the early 1990s.

I like you Ted. You’re a good guy. So, I’m going to be honest with you. Ted, I made that up.

if it’s any consolation, I did and still do masturbate furiously whilst looking at a photo of her. That photo is a bit worn now. It’s not a photo as such, more a drawing I did of her.

Oh :frowning:

* If you’ve finished with your drawing a friend of mine is interested in it’s artwork*

From Fade Out of Line to…

We had a music teacher who let us bring our latest singles to play at the end of the music lesson, (mostly Gilbert and fuckin’ Sullivan). I handed him this single…he looked at it…held it between pinched fingers and said… ā€œI’m going to play this, but I think you should know, I think these people are…EVIL!!ā€

We fell about. :lou_lol:

Think it’s apeared in the chain already, but it’s so good it’s worth it (and previous was a live version).

Were you at Barton Peveril by any chance?

Haha…No I was at Priestlands in Lymington during my teenage years before moving back to Saintshampton. The music teacher was born when Victoria was still on the throne.

Shit, boring link, but a great song.

Irrelevant edit not worth it’s own comment: Left to it’s own devices, youtube ran into OMD - Enola Gay and I am blissfully happy right now.

I love Mazzy Star Fat Stuff and Ted * , but you’ve both picked the wrong song.

or at a push

* Wasn’t Fat Stuff and Ted a 70s reggae act?

** Apologies for sidetracking the music chain, but I’m sure you’ll agree that it had to be done.

You’ve sent me on a bit of a binge.

Back on track…
