Who do you think you are, the boss of this thread?
What’s that?
Oh, ok as you were.
Ted’s all over the shop. He’s like an ape; a wild ape!
Anyhow, from one of Neil Young’s ‘ditch trilogy’ albums…
Sorry guys,
Graham Coxon is underrated really.
MOD EDIT: fixed your link.again, @SaintBristol. The link to the site needs to appear on it’s own and on it’s own line.
Sorry to drag the thread out of orbit, but seeing as you’re a fan of the later Japan related stuff, do you know the albums David Sylvian made with Can’s Holger Czukay? Plight & Premonition and Flux & Mutability? They’re lovely in that same sort of ambient rock way. Just been reissued too.
Yeah absolutely. Followed David Sylvian through most of his solo projects after Japan. Same for Mick Karn too - but his collaborations we’re more hit and miss.
Yup I agree, whatever Sylvian does, it’s always interesting! I discovered him retrospectively through people like Czukay, Christian Fennesz and the improv stuff like Evan Parker. But that late Japan stuff is mesmerzing.
