I think itās something to do with how links are posted. If you use the insert/edit link button it knackers up, if you just paste the URL into the body of the post it doesnāt.
so which of you bellends canāt post a video properly? Let the witch-hunt begin.

Nope itās not that. One of mine did it after Iād started pasting the url into the body.
It starts to go wrong on the Blodwyn Pig video I postedā¦but thereās nothing Iāve done to cause itā¦simply posted the urlā¦nothing else.
Iāve thrown all the members into a lake and the one that floated was won ton.
Just this once, I will resist the cries of āBurn him! Burn him!ā
Iāve edited the errant post now, so it should be OK.
won ton, a quirk of our site is that you only need paste the link to the YouTube video, you donāt need to create a link to the video. In fact if you do, the hounds of hell will be unleashed (well Fatstuff and 'slowlane at any rate).
Fucking won ton.

Yeah think the quirk on the site is getting it on with a quirk on my Kindle. Iāll try posting a link directly, but that didnāt embed the video when I first started posting.
Ok, how do I post a link using a touchscreen? When I hold the screen down on either my Kindle or phone all I get is a menu which has insert link on it, canāt seem to paste.

I donāt know if this will work for you, and itās a bit fiddly, but what I do isā¦
Tap in the editor (without holding your finger there) where you want to paste something and the āteardropā text-selection cursor should appear - see below:
Then I single tap the teardrop cursor (without holding your finger there) and you should get the paste menu. Like this.
This is on an android device, so your Kindle may well behave in the same way.
Give it a go and see if it works for you.
