Spirit in the Sky. Back in 72 we had a beaten up old record player in the 6th form common room. The only records we had to play were the Five Bridges Suite by The Nice. Occasionaly someone would bring The Band of Gypies album in by Hendrix and the only single we had was Spirt in the Sky. Must have heard it over a thousand times that year! Still like it though!
