As for the report from the Social Integretaion Commission a few years back, the survey was taken from 4269 people out of, what, a population of some 65m people? Out of those 4269 people 500 were chosen specifically because they were from black or ethnic minority backgrounds. 500 out of 65m people.
The report concludes by saying “Please note that our research does not compare Britain with other countries nor does it compare the current level of social integration in Britain with historic trends”.
So not only do we not know how we are doing compared with other countries but we dont know whether we are getting better or worse than before.
Despite you saying at the start that social integration is not working, not once in this report does it say that. In fact it measures the amout of social integration (which here seems to be meeting with people of different backgrounds rather than living a day to day life and being part of Britain’s society) which would indicate that it is happening. Maybe it isnt happening as much as you think it should, but it is happening nonetheless.

As a woman I was paid less than one of my male colleagues though we were doing the same job and he was employed later than me. This was just as I started out in the working world so 20 years ago. But it does happen. As we don’t openly talk about pay it’s hard to know it’s happening. Now I’d kick up a fuss.
