Well have now read much of the thread. Got slightly tired of the sniping. Some is good/fun but it got a bit excessive. Like most of what we’re fed it’s missing in some information, doesn’t take into account a whole number of hidden factors and we can speculate to a great degree any which way and (because people are people) probably hit the nail on many of them.
There were people attacked. They were women and the attack took the form of … .This is something that is considered wrong by the standards of the country in which it took place and in several others. This ‘wrong’ is an idea/feeling that is felt by the animal known as the human or ‘homo sapien’. It - the attack - (so I understand) was conducted by Muslim men. You can take what you want from those three things and then go from there. On the assumptions that everyone on here does not condone the actions of the men involved and that what happened, happened then what was done should be (again according to how things are) addressed as it will be and the aforementioned condemnation should remain and should continue. How, when, where, etc is a matter for each individual who should be cognisant of action and reaction.
I think that puts this to bed.
