I donāt know, if I wanted to make a point about the tone of discussion being counterproductive, particularly on a topic as sensitive and naturally emotive as paedophilia, Iād make pretty damn sure I took the time to express myself as clearly and unambiguously as possible.

Could be an example you mentioned where people with no convictions falling through the gaps, from the looks of that article he was cleared of previous allegations in 1992, and it would seem that not working directly with kids meant no CRB/DBS checks.
I will also add that despite very suspicious circumstances this man has been found guilty of nothing yet, and that hopefully a full investigation will get to the truth and an appropriate outcome.

It would seem a few clubs(at least) have been involved in covering this up.
I would hope that any club found guilty of covering this up, faces serious consequences, including our own.
Last year Chelsea were still attempting to pay for silence about child abuse. Thatās fucking sick.
I worry that the recent actions of Chelsea hint that there is a lot more to come out.

Slightly off topic i know, but this morning we have reports that hundreds of police officers have been accused of sexual abuse. No wonder they were reluctant to pursue the complaints against Saville and various bigwigs in Westminster and beyond! What the fuck is wrong with this country!
In all aspects of life, power has a corrupting influence, for some itās financial, for some sexual, for some control, for some statusā¦in all cases those without power or influence are those that are exploited. Everyone has seen it in one form or anotherā¦working in an office for 40 years, Iāve seen it all to some degree. Itās appallingā¦but itās sadly not surprising.
