we shouldn’t need to be playing 10 been to win a game. Sending off or not, it makes no difference. We couldn’t beat West Brom at home.

Well that sucked, especially following the Spuds game. Not the best way to end the year but at least no one died (apart from a shed load of celebrities and rock stars). Why people feel the need to slit their wrists when a team loses a football match is beyond me but it is funny to read the reaction on TSW and by one bloke on here. It wasn’t that long ago that we turned Bournemouth over away from home and we are not a bad side. We are also not a brilliant side but after our journey to Division 1 I can quite happily live with mid table mediocrity! Happy New Year one and all!

We were shite in the second half…shite.
I don’t understand why we play our best attacking player on the flank. He should be central, playing in the penalty area whenever possible. He has the balance and the quickest feet of any Saint scince Matt LeTiss…he should be terrifying opposing defenders in the area.
OK it was a packed defense this afternoon but the man is good enough to earn us penalties as well as score goals. Buy a strong central striker and play Boufal off the striker.

That was shite, awful. I really fear we might be seriously embarrassed at Goodison. Which will hurt. Although their record is good, and i have always supported the powers that be re their black box etc, i think they may have seriously fucked up with Puel. Who could blame Dick Van Dyke if he took the Man City Arab shilling in January? I wouldn’t.
Van Dyke has knocked about £10m off his own value in the last week - he needs to pull his frigging finger out, and get the rest of them to get their shit together too.

That is the point. His head is already gone. He hasn’t knocked 10 mill of his price at all, in a week? Ridiculous and naive. He is a great player, surrounded by mediocrity, we have to accept this. Reluctantly i am coming round to the conclusion that as far as Saint’s owners are concerned, just as long as we stay in the Prem, with all the riches that come with it, that is all that matters to them. Puel is not good enough at this level, surely that is blindingly obvious.
