From what I’ve seen of pied (not a lot) he is attacking and I imagine has been brought on to play as a wide man. The crowd not happy though.
As below. I can’t see sense in having Clasie & Hojbjerg on the bench but only 1 striker in a game we needed to win, especially when Jay clearly has a point to prove.

Agreed. It has to be on current form and since the cup final we have not been doing the business. With the players we have we really should be a great side to watch!

I’m conscious of being a doom-monger but I really fear that if we keep Puel over the summer we will see players leaving. Is this the kind of football that attracts players to the club and keeps them here? Will Bertrand, VVD etc turn down wads of cash and European football to stay here and grind out 0-0’s against the likes of Hull?
Forgive me for being a corporate douchebag for a second but our style this season is hardly good for the “brand” - we’re supposed to be an exciting team filled with talent but we’ve looked so pedestrian and uninspired lately I wonder who we’ll be able to attract in the summer.
I’ve not felt this much negativity about the club since the Lowe era. Have we been spoiled by our recent success? Absolutely. Should we settle for mediochrity instead? Absolutely not.

Season finish
Joint points with Bournmouth and 15 points behind Everton. Whatever our cup run gave us we didnt win it. Whatever our Europa run gave us we didnt progress. Whatever our past miseies we always managed to score and beat the odd Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool. Not this season.
Before people say about League 1 and Championship I would much rather be there and winning than be a mid table boring team Premier team Apart from Komans second season the years under Nigel we by far the best.
The club should. Get a new manager, get Nigel back in some form, spend some money, stop talking about progress and Europe , get Corsesea back and lets shit or bust
