Apart from 15 mins at start of second half, it was bollocks. Home form is crap. Things need to shake up. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Puel given his p45 in a week.

Still it’s a point and we are in the box seat for the 8th spot! The best of the rest. 
But it was! Oh well.
Commentators were pretty bemused as to why Puel’s job is under threat - then they casually mentioned the fact that we’ve not scored a home goal for 6 HOURS now. We’ve even forgotten how to score penalties ffs! We’re so ponderous up front and the fact that there were loud boos for JWP coming off when he was the only man making runs from midfield is pretty telling. As numptyboi mentioned Gabbi must be scratching his head at times, any time the ball is anywhere near him our midfield are so far away they’re almost on the fucking Common.
Having said that, a word for the defence who I thought were excellent to a man today. Nice to see Targett back with a solid performance as well. Needs to work on his crossing in pre-season but I would be happy to see him at LB next season if somebody comes in with a stonking bid for Bertrand.

Mrs C_S watched the game (cos she comes from Madchester). She now understands why I constantly moan about the wasted fucking opportunities we have and how it seems to take about 50 attempts to score one goal (I may be slightly exaggerating - but not by much).
Don’t even start me on penalties…
JWP looked excellent again though. Starting to come into his own…

Did I spot RK yawning.Where has the urgency gone. Stephens had a good game. Targett of the pace. Pied looks OK. JWP Mr unlucky but over all the midfield and forward line was playing like an away side. Poor passing no passion no penetration.
Didnt like the booing for Boufal but understand it. We need him to come good for us. Just need to better West Brom and Bournmouth to retain 8th now. If we have had a good season Eddie Howe and all the care homes must be over the moon.
The media commentators deseve the elbow for how little they know about Saints. Theres only 20 teams for them to keep track of.
