Pre match drinks better than the match for sure! Good to see everyone again, plus a couple of new faces in SO5 Junior, and to meet Barry Sanchez for the first time. Plus the return of Papā€™s Brother! Sunshine out, few laughs, few beers and all was going so wellā€¦

Only just got home now :frowning: That journey home was no fun. Nice seeing everyone + bonus of letsbeavenue in the stadium! Frustrating result.

Apologies if I didnā€™t get to spend as much time with everyone as I should. The afternoon was brother dependent; we needed a ticket he had on his person, so I was my usual fretful self waiting for him to turn up. To be fair to him, he did actually turn up with enough wiggle room to enjoy a pint and some chat with the Sotonians, so no real complaints.

Many thanks to Barry Sanchez for making the effort. Itā€™s not my first time meeting Barry, as you know, but for many it was - I told a particularly humiliating version of the BAP story to my bro. Many thanks to everyone that made it out. I think this may be our largest gathering yet, and if the match was as good as the beers, weā€™d have romped home.
