I’m going on performance level. We will turn Everton over in a much different game. Surely you keep going until defeat? Also we will not play many better teams than Liverpool.

Don’t think we will have another park the bus kinda game against Everton, I mean they are half the team we are and that means they are nothing on Liverpool. I think we can do them and get a great result, we’ll need an early goal to start the ball rolling but come on this Everton team aren’t a team they are Koeman’s heavy men, and yet when they go behind the become a bunch of individuals who have no unity to play as a team. (Gees I hope I am right in saying that)

Sturrige I know he wouldnt be a southampton type signing BUT at the moment I would love us to buy him in Jan. No goals and we dont win games. I getting fed up with all the great defense talk when we dont score. Sturridge would be like a mobile Austin

Whilst I agree I was watching Sturridge against Scotland and the boy just doesn’t tackle. Defence from the fron will not happen with him in the team.
He scores goals for fun though, at least in an England shirt
Annoyingly Everton seem to get the results from their individuals. Would love to put one over Koentman but I don’t see it happening.

This is a very good shout, but I do not think he would want to leave Liverpool for us. Another one would be Defoe, who we might be able to get, but Sunderland would fight to keep him. He knows where the goal is for sure, even in a pretty poor Sunderland side. If we can forget he played for the skates, he would fit in well playing up front with Austin in a big man little man combo.
Likewise sturridge would work just as well.

Well my response to that is a lot of our fans said we were going to lose horrifically to Liverpool… we didn’t and we are the better team soooo ok they have Lukaku but we have VVD and Fonte :))
