We had a pretty good first half. Leicester struggled to see much of the ball and a few Kelvin shuffles, poor kicks and indecision produced their only chances. We controlled the midfield with JWP having another good half. Two corners produced the two goals and we ended the half with some olé passing. Happy days.
The second half saw a different Leicester emerge. They pressed high up the pitch with much more determination and energy and despite holding out for 20 minutes it looked inevitable that Leicester would get back into it. We gave the ball away far too easily. From olé football to not being able to string three passes together.
We seemed to rally slightly after they scored their first and Mane had a good chance when through one on one (should have laid it onto Tadic in my opinion). I have read a few comments about his shot from the half way line but to be honest I don’t think he had the legs to take it on further, he looked shattered. He really does put a shift in and I don’t think that comes across on the tv.
In the end we were lucky to hang on for a point. Leicester were excellent in the second half.

Our MOTM: Virgil
Overall MOTM: Vardy by a country mile.
Should have bought Romeu on for Davis. Ho Hum. Let’s spank Liverpool next Sunday.
I like the look of Clasie too but we we got turned (granted ony from the highlights) alot yesterday running back facing our goal with what seemed a lack of pace and urgency, yes still in the hunt for a ticket if I can go, you up on Saturday night? I’m meeting some old footie mates from Winchester if you and Pap are up for it?
The highlights showed very little; their two goals in the second half and that was about it. As GB said above, the root of Leicester’s second goal was Kelvin punting a goal kick directly to a Leicester player in our half. Nothing to do with getting turned easily. However, the goal kick wasn’t shown on the highlights so there’s no way you’d have known that.
That goal kick may have been the isolated incident that led to the goal, but I’m sure they would have found a way to score regardless. They were unstoppable and we didn’t know how to cope. I think it’s harsh to blame a man who hasn’t played all season for a mistake when the rest of the team were making just as many and only luck meant that one of those mistakes didn’t lead to a goal.
Was fucking daft defending. Why on earth they were pushing up so high so late on when Kelvin had barely been clearing his own box all game is baffling. Really, really daft at that stage in the game. Yoshi also played Vardy onside. Really effin sloppy.
