Ha ha ha

It that 40 points, fuck it job done mentality kicking in…

… I’m joking! (Maybe)

Willian was the difference between the two sides today. Classy player.

We scored from a defensive error and created little else. Thought we may hang on for a draw but we didn’t keep the ball well enough and it was probably a fair result in the end.

Nice to see Cahill step into the whinging John Terry role so professionally.

If you want to be a linesman that much you giraffe necked gesticulating fuck, grab yourself a fucking flag. Cunt.

how disappointing. I should have trusted me bones.

Chelsea are a side that are difficult to like.

Too much play-acting, too many players going nose-to-nose with the ref, and Costa’s behaviour would see him dismissed at any other level of the game.

He’s aggresive and that’s a great part of his game say the pundits.

No, he’s just a cheating cunt says me.

Everything was going swimmingly until the ref ignored his lino flagging for a Saints free-kick and Chelsea instantly broke forward to score. #justsaying

Hard to like they cerainly are, but I have to say that Hiddink has got Chelsea playing very well - and if you play well with that many high-class players you’re going to win a lot more than you lose. They had a lot more of the ball than we did, had more shots and more on target - though it’s hard to remember any that extended Fraser, other than the two goals. We didn’t play badly by any means, but in the end they had more than we did and it showed. Still pissed off about it though.

Not sure just how much one can blame on a ref but, as Ant says above, the overruling of the linesman today led pretty much directly to their equaliser. Still can’t understand how that crept in though - seemed like everybody thought somebody else was dealing with it and bobody actually did. Comedy goal. Other than that, on the reffing side of things, I couldn’t see that Davis or Clasie should have been booked; various Chelsea players got away with no card for more serious challenges. Should that have been a penalty in the second half, with the score still at 1-0? Looked to me like Austin was brought down, but it was up the other end.

A few final thoughts. The midfield pairing of Romeu and Clasie is very good and getting better; Clasie dispossessed Willian quite beautifully at one point today. Austin looks good but needs time to settle I think; he certainly should start as Pelle really didn’t look up to much when he came on. I’d be tempted to start Mane for the Bournemouth game; not sure how serious Long’s injury is but he did a hell of a lot of running today.

Seems like a good summary to me. Re: Austin pen - looked more like a shout for handball based on the replay I saw.

Agree with Goatboy about Willian too. Looked like a threat every time he got the ball.

The inconsistency of the ref was incredible.

Davis booked for ordinary challenge - then Ivanovic goes and commits a professional foul - nothing.

Ivanovic commits a second professional foul - still nothing.

Chelsea skipper then called over for a lecture about his players’ conduct after several incidents including a Chelsea defender manhandling the ref, and another sticking his face in three inches away from the ref’s - but still no card issued.

Costa abused the linesman and must have shown dissent to the officials 15 times before being booked for what appeared an accidental trip.

Then he went card crazy on us.

A textbook demonstration of inconsistent refereeing.

edited to ruin Goat’s joke.

I’m a bit concerned that they had a veteran Croatian tennis player playing for them and we still lost.

Chelsea played well overall and better than us, though not by much. They won coz they are cunts. And the Ref was a cunt. Oh and Chelsea are cunty cunts. Cunts.

Seen the highlights now.

Definite penalty and red card.

Petulant foul by Chelsea player in the build up to their first - possible red card for violent conduct.

They may have been the better side in the second half but they benefited massively from refereeing assistance.

I preferred it when big clubs came here and gave us a 3-0 lesson - no complaints, just beaten fairly by better sides.

Liverpool last year, United this season, now Chelsea - they are bringing their own officials.

Conspiracy innit… what with the ‘traditional’ big boys not having a good season, need to try and get them back up top or else the TV revenues form the far east may be effected… all about the business dudes.

Costa is an absolute cuntoid. Blatant dissent to Ref and Lino’s, argy bargy with Virgil and his reaction to getting Bertrand booked was a disgrace. I loathe the cunt.

Ref was a total knobber. Lost count of how many of our players got booked for petty incidents, yet several of the Chelsea gits got away with persistent fouling with no comeback.

How we didn’t get a penalty for two handballs and a foul all in the same incident is beyond me.

Great turnout of @dubaisaints with several visitors swelling our numbers, pity we didn’t get a good result to send tem away happy.

Onwards and upwards and 6 points from the next 2 matches to get us back on track to Europe. COYS
