:saints:🕴 Saints' next manager

Sky reporting he’s gone. Simon Rusk back in temporary charge.

Russell Martin was also sacked after losing to Spurs. SR obviously regard that as a heinous offence.

Some football gossip columns have Russell Martin replacing Van Nistelrooy at Leicester.

So.

If I could remember how to do a pole Oh wait…

Dyche
Rohl
ANOther

I like the Rohl idea but not sure we need another young ooach

What will happen is that saints will contrive to win 3 or 4 of these remaining games and our SR retards will appoint Rusk and lallana as joint managers on a 2 games on 2 games off rotation, heralding a new dawn in club management.

Jesus H. Christ…

Please, no. We’ve been through enough, after this season I couldn’t bear that.

If you look at Coventry you could make an argument for Lampard.
But Gerrard? Rather have Rooney :face_vomiting:

I wonder if that was the thinking behind appointing Juric.

“We’re down already. After this, anyone will look like an upgrade.”

The perfect young up and coming manager is
Not stupid enough to come here

This is genius - it’s always been about Gerrard from the get go, but SR knew that we would never swallow it, so they put in a succession of shite managers to bring the bar down to a level where we would be pleading for a manager with his credentials- well played SR

Do you really think SR have that long a vision?

A possibility last 3 times around

This got everyones attention but then he got a piece of paper saying he could coach…

started his tenure as head coach at Reims with a 14-game unbeaten streak in all competitions which ended with a 3–1 defeat against Toulouse in the Coupe de France round of 16,[21] including two draws against league leaders Paris Saint-Germain.[18] With a 1–0 win against Monaco on 12 March 2023, Still extended his unbeaten start as Reims manager to 17 matches, setting a new Ligue 1 record. He also became just the second manager to reach this mark in top-five European leagues in the 21st century, following Tito Vilanova with 18 matches at Barcelona in 2012–13.[22] A week later, his undefeated streak in Ligue 1 came to an end after a 2–1 home defeat against Marseille.[23] Reims finished the season in 11th.[24]

@Matthew-Le-God will be creaming his big boy pants!

That’s actually what first occurred to me. :joy::joy:
