I know all about cold reading. Anyone cant do it. How do you cold read your first daughter had a major birth trauma and nearly died if the person you are supposedly reading isnt giving you any information? I have several recordings of readings I have had over the years and I can assure you that they are kosher. I am sure there are frauds out there and yes, I have seen Derren Brown, but I have also experienced at first hand mediums who are genuine. You are a very black and white type of person. I would suggest that there are plenty of grey areas. The paranormal world is full of things that you cant expain away by just saying it is bollocks (well you can but then thats the way you are wired).
In my family we had an experience of past life regression and there are documented cases where people have given information under regression that is not available to be able to have gained the information ahead of time and science can’t explain it.

Off topic (but when does that ever stop me?) a tad but as I have been talking about energy and we have been talking about providing proof, I did a workshop on chakras a few years back. If you get someone to lay down and hold a crystal tied to a thread above their various chakras the crystal will rotate. Move it away to another part of the body and it will stop. Try it for yourselves, it is really cool.
I spoke to the last medium I saw about when she first knew that she had this ability and she said she used to see people sitting on the stairs or in various places around the house that her mother (who was also a medium) could see but no one else in the family could.
Ours was a visit to St Ives in Cornwall where its was described perfectly by someone who could never have seen pictures of it and definatly had never been there before.
