The council reorganisation has been shit canned on legal advice - turns out Reed chose the least recommended/ supported and chose the most labour beneficial options
For instance only 3% supported the Hampshire plan
what I want to know is whether central govt will recompense councils for the money this shit show has cost them - I know that councils have been recruiting in anticipation of these changes
I am quite impressed with the Burnham reign so far, particularly after yesterday’s announcement of a reset with relations with Israel.

Well is the reports are to be believed, the treasury are actively talking about reducing the threshold on the mansion tax to £1.5m from £2m even before there have introduced the original limit
Rate they are going they will be declaring that a 2 bed end of terrace in Scunthorpe is a mansion by the end of this Parliament
