Looks like they are all following their leader. The Environment Secretary Steve Reed took hospitality worth £1,786 for a Premiership game, (Chelsea v Crystal Palace), from the parent company of Northumbria Water - a company he is now supposed to be holding to account for 280,000 hours of sewage leaks in 2023. In what world is this acceptable? He is hopelessly compromised, bordering on corruption. A civil servant is not even allowed to accept a box of chocolates, likewise police. For obvious reasons, yet we are expected to accept that this behaviour is perfectly fine and dandy when it’s government ministers. Do these shysters ever stop and ask themselves why it is that billionaires and companies like Northumbria Water suddenly start falling over themselves to shower them with ‘donations’ as soon as they attain a position of power and influence? I doubt it very much, their arrogance and sense of entitlement knows no bounds.
Fair play to the water co - £1700 is dirt cheap for three hours in the ear of a govt minister in waiting
It is nevervending and contagious
He is not a former Cop he us the fucking Mayor of New York
Bring back Rudi Giuliani.
Rudi was actually half decent before he went batshit crazy and had his Trumpian meltdown
Indeed. Engaging in corruption has traditionally precluded one from any position of political prominence in the US of A.
Bit early!
Getting in an early nice bit of raising her profile as part of her planned rise up the greasy pole, most likely tbh.
Though I’m a Guardian reader (not exclusively) but I’m apparently and I quote:
“…a meld of sanctimony and arrogance
They not only believe that they are your moral superior, they have the arrogance to dictate how everyone else should live their lives…”
Does she drop any clues as to which rag we should be reading?
If you want to be truly woke you have to work harder at it - you still allow people to have a differing opinion
t’Sunday Times?
I can’t get through the Sunday Times Cuture section in a week…I’m a slow reader.
is that the nailed on section
It’s usually the only bit worth reading.
He must have a new sponsor
Now let’s get every politician to pay back gifts and donations received as far back as say the last 14 years or so.
