Puel dead man walking

1982, the sun never stopped shining.

Football is overthought sometimes, we played well and Arsenal played shit.

A manager’s status is overthought sometimes too.

Ten defeats on the bounce is a dead man walking.

Puel is just wobbling a little.

This we are shit at the start of the season and we are shit this time of year, and it seems to be every year. The difference this season is we managed to stay in the league cup. Win tomorrow and get something at Stoke and all will seem ok again… but we may need to sit tight, as it is a bit early in December!

This time last season we were in freefall down the table, worse than this season! Then we completely dicked Arsenal!

The thing is I have no faith in him turning it around, we don’t score enough goals on a consistent basis and we’re leaking them as well, in short I had very little faith in this cheap option and now I don’t have any faith in him.

If being a “tit” means not being a knee jerk reactionary drama queen, then I shall happily be a tit Barry.

Charlie’s injured so you need to be a bit more realistic. I just hope Long can end his 18 game goalless streak and find some form while we’re without our first choice striker

I can not believe some of the comments on here. I was at the game on Thursday and right from the start it was obvious it was not going to be easy.Hapoel were a good organised team and played it very tight waiting for the chance to come knowing that one goal would be enough. Our lack of height against their giant back four was always going to be a problem.Consider this if Yoshidas late header had gone in Puel would have been a tactical genius and Yoshida a legend.Such is the fine line between success and failure. In hindsight Puel should have bought on Fonte when Charlie was injured and played Vigil as a striker.

This time of the year is always shit for us but add the strains of Euro League and you can see we have not done that badly. We are through to the EFL Cup Semi Final whereas last year we were hammered 6-1 by Liverpool.I was reading comments by Ibrahimovic that the Euro League is killing their chance of a top 4 finish.

Wake up and smell the coffee guys!

Fans are in full meltdown.

So the club decides to make the players go all karaoke…

At least it shows they are in it together.

Until next month…

I think you’ll find that was 1976.

I think you’ll find it was 1982 for Bazza, Fowllyd.

Thatcher in power. Falklands won. Sunny days indeed.

Not forgetting the publication of a Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, of course. Confirmation for Bazza that being a wanker was perfectly normal.

To be fair, there was some cracking music in 1982.
