Should have been more, but a point at a ground where we usually lose is a decent outcome.

Followed this thread a bit earlier and thought we had lost 2-1! Glad I checked! Happy days!

As we all know, I am pretty quick to slag off Nathan Redmond but I am also always willing to give credit where it’s due.

Whilst I didn’t manage to watch the game and have only watched these highlights, Redmond picking up the ball and incisively running at the opposition was a breath of fresh air. Contributed to both goals too. Please just do it more often!

I was thinking that exact thing watching the highlights last night.

It’s a benefit of having competition for the AM positions. Last season Redmond was too comfortable in his place. Now he needs to show something when he gets in the pitch: same goes for Djenepo, Walcott, Tella, Elyounoussi and SA when he gets back

Djenepo needs to practice his first time shooting. As bad as the one he skied over the bar from 12cm was, the one where he fannied about and turned around instead of shooting with his right foot, was in many ways actually worse in my opinion.

Gotta remember how young he is still and also Mane was similar early on.
It will come.
What I like now is that whoever’s starts wide causes problems then fresh legs can come on and cause problems

Didn’t see him in the Bigg Market last night!!!

Trouble was after channelling his inner John Sydenham for the 1st goal, he reverted to type. Giving the ball away by strutting about, playing lazy passes. Almost cost us a goal or two.
