Cheers for that. Jonathan Cook is one of my favourite journalists.
Largely because he troubles himself with the serious parts of the job.

Is Starmer really a Tory mole installed to destrky the Labour party?
The aim isn’t to destroy the Labour party. The aim is to neutralise the left wing elements.
If he destroys it, he has fucked up.
The old saying is:-
When your only tool is a hammer, you see every problem as a nail
So when you look at the bastards in the Parliamentary Party and how they saw their problems, it’s no surprise that their solution for everything is scorched earth.
Fuck 'em. Let them live on the “centre ground” they created. I don’t want it.
He must be a closet Tory
Lol - H&S contract went to David Anderson, the son of that bent Liverpool mayor
A quick credit check shows Flanagan Group had a turnover of around £10m a year for the two years up to the end of 2016, when this project was probably procured. Guardian says the project cost was estimated to be £35m in 2015. Giving a construction contract to a company with a total turnover less than a third of project cost stinks the place out. Even more stinky now the final cost has been revealed.
Ouch
I think the problem for Labour is that this is just the latest punch in a long line of self-inflicted combination attacks. I think we’ve known this for some time, which was the major reason the Corbyn project attracted so much interest.
These were policies that could have, and still can, change people’s lives. They are policies that would give voters a genuine choice. Google this if you don’t believe me, but there was actually a Conservatives for Corbyn group during his time, simply because in some senses, his policy platform would have actually conserved more, in the true sense of the word.
Keir has got fuck all to offer except he’s not Corbyn. The things he lists as assets are also huge fucking liabilities. He talks about his time as a crusading DPP but didn’t have the balls to put Savile in a courtroom. Please don’t tell me there wasn’t enough evidence.
He cites the 2019 election as one of the reasons for his epic failure today. Doesn’t wash with me. Leaving aside that his breaking ranks at the Labour Party conference and the subsequent policy change on Europe, you listen to the man today and it’s clear he’s got nothing. Zip. Nada.
Theresa May looks visionary compared to Keir Starmer.
I dont do politics as you know, but right now I have no idea what Labour stand for.
Sure much of that is down to MSM but being simplistic where is the vision statement?
They need a reboot they need to modernise but most of the people who would do that are tied to the trough.
It is sad
The reason they cannot articulate a vision is because the people in charge couldn’t see farther than ousting Corbyn.
Keir is the Owen Smith that worked.
Maybe read this and come up with a new idea?
